The secret to a good mount starts in the field, follow these simple tips to ensure that your bird gets to me in the best shape possible. 

 

• Place your bird inside two freezer safe plastic bags; tuck the head under the wing to ensure protection against freezer burn. Keep your bird in the freezer until you are ready to ship.

• Place your bird (in the double plastic bags) into a small box of loose newspaper.

• Always ship 2nd Day Air on Mondays or Tuesdays by UPS or FEDEX. Shipping early in the week helps to make sure that there are no weekend layovers. NEVER USE THE POST OFFICE.

 

 All migratory birds such as ducks, geese, dove and woodcock must have the hunter's full name, hunting license number, phone number, address and date of kill. This information must accompany your birds.
